Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our Kindergarten class is composed of 24 wonderful students. These students are all coming into school with the desire to learn. Many of these students are English Language Learners, and are coming into school with diverse backgrounds. They are all very eager to get into the process of learning and being in Kindergarten! Please help our support our class in our learning process!
My Project
As we've started back into the new school year, the students are very excited to be learning in their first year of Kindergarten. We have been trying to use many of the materials and resources that they have access to at home. Although there are materials that the students need to have a better opportunity for learning. Providing students with whiteboards, markers and erasers will help provide them for a platform to practice their letters, numbers, and new words without the expense of paper and pencils. Additionally, providing students with these manipulatives will help them to be able to better understand numbers and learn in a tactile way!
