Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing 2nd and 3rd graders that come from families that do not have the resources or the ability to help them academically while they are trying to learn at home. Many of them try to complete assignments but they do not have the support. These materials are essential for my students to learn and grow at home. With these materials I will be able to have resources that they need digitally to be successful. The resources on TpT will give me guidance, flexibility, and abundance when finding resources for my students.
TpT will help me find resources for my students who have learning disabilities and struggle with language acquisition, speech impairments, and/or emotional disabilities.
Their life experiences have left them reading way below grade level, struggling to express themselves, often resorting to violent outbursts, and lacking the basics that many take for granted.
My Project
Covid-19 will not stop me from helping my students learn the skills they need to be successful in life. My students were learning how to read, write, and do simple addition and subtraction before school closures. Now my family room is my classroom. Therefore, it is very important that I have the resources to help them grasp the concepts and skills they need to succeed in the next school year. Teachers Pay Teachers has been my saving grace and having gift cards to help me bring more of these resources to my students would be a lifesaver!
