My students receive tele-therapy services as a part of their remote learning. As an occupational therapist, I try to make our sessions fun and interactive, using things I make myself, find around the house or online.
It's been challenging at times to keep my students' attention during our sessions, but I've managed to do so and get them participating at home.
Currently I have been using a lot of hands-on materials such as dry-erase boards, worksheets (color, cut, paste), and a variety of arts and crafts during our sessions.
My Project
Distance Learning has now become a part of our everyday lives, for both the student and the teacher. This has been quite a learning experience for those of us who provide instruction, spending many hours in front of a computer while trying to stay organized between sessions.
The addition of a wireless keyboard and mouse, along with file storage boxes will help create an organized space that will bring increased efficiency and performance during distance learning.
These simple solutions will allow me to organize my materials and arrange my working space to interact with my students in a more efficient manner.
