My students come from an urban area with diverse backgrounds, so they are facing multiple life issues. This can be difficult for anyone, especially now during these times of uncertainty. I have spoken with families and they have shared that it has been trying with loved ones being sick, so this is the time to help them. Please help me help my students.
My students are my top priority and I have requested materials that they will need at home during this time of distance learning. They are having to do written work at home, so the pencils, crayons, and paper are a necessity, since these are items that run out quickly and go through wear and tear from multiple uses.
Children deserve the best, and I want to give them as much support as I possibly can with your help.
The picture books will be great resources for them to use at home with their families. It's still allergy season, so tissue boxes are a must for all. The tote bags will be used to place the materials for my students. The Legos will be a great material for them to use to explore their creative and imaginative side. Children can build castles, helicopters, and so much more with the Legos. I am hopeful that my students will have all these great materials to use at home.
