This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students attend a Title I, inner-city public school. My school serves 930 students. Our school is very diverse and we have many bilingual and international students. Our neighborhood is also very diverse, and all of our students live within the neighborhood. All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students and school need support and resources to continue our successes.

My school community will need support with food and supplies to help during our quarantine.

This project will supply families with grade-level workbooks for students to keep their learning fresh.

My Project

This project will allow students to have the items they will need to participate in distance learning at home. As you know, Baltimore's students will be learning in various ways while school is closed.

Through the use of online learning, students will need notebooks for note-taking, and dry erase boards for working out problems.

These are items commonly used in the classroom, but that may not be available at home. These items will be directly distributed to students and families for at-home use. Thanks for helping me provide this necessary resource to our school community and amazing students.
