I have a highly diverse group of students of various academic levels. No matter what obstacles they face when they leave school, they come into the classroom excited and ready to learn. They are a close group of kids who help, support, and learn from each other. This group of students loves working in groups, talking to each other, class discussions, and of course having fun and being kids! I strive to provide them with all the tools and opportunities they need to be successful and enjoy learning. My students become a family by the end of the year and appreciate all of the great experiences and opportunities that they are offered.
My Project
Next year will be very different for my students and myself as a teacher, as well. I am constantly looking into ways to keep my passion and love for teaching evident to students while teaching at a distance. Adapting, being open to change and creativity are going to play a huge part in our school year.
Connecting, being personal and taking the time to reach all students will be more important than ever before!
