My students come from loving families who want only the best for them. They attend school in a tight knit and diverse community where everyone looks out for each others children. My students are engaged in learning and work to give their best each day.
We were one of the very first school districts to leave the physical school setting and begin Distance Learning during this pandemic.
During Distance Learning, my students were very eager to learn all that they could. I quickly realized that the more I could share and show them, the more successful they were going to be.
My Project
Teaching via Distance Learning proved to have its challenges. The iPad Pro with iPad Pencil will take the unknown out of the equation! Having the iPad Pro and iPad Pencil will help me make all assignments and lessons clear for my students.
These tools will make virtual learning as close to traditional in-person learning as possible!
I will be able to share my screen and all assignments with students to enhance a deeper understanding of the curriculum. I will have the ability to write on the screen, in real time, to assist with difficult math equations and ELA editing. This project will facilitate my students' understanding of all fifth grade standards, enhancing my ability to communicate with them during remote learning.
The Apple iPad Pro and iPad Pencil will also be very effective teaching tools once we are able to fully return to our classroom. I will be able to easily display math equations and note taking skills on the Apple Pro, using my classroom projector!
