This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 20 curious third graders! They love learning and are yearning to know more about the world around them. They love doing hand on activities and project based learning. My children are learning new things every single day!
My children are a diverse group of learners from many different backgrounds.
Some students do well learning by visualizing and drawing out the concepts, while other students do well listening to a concept and trying to work on their own. We are all one big family learning together!
My Project
I teach inner city students. During this time of distance learning, I am looking to get my students engaged. Several of them do not have supplies at home to complete their digital lessons.
I want my students to love learning!
My goal is to reach out to them daily through video messages where I can teach them the lessons using this chart stand, picture globe, chart tablet and writing prompts.
Most of students are currently below grade level and are not receiving enough help at home. My goal is to engage them through videos and use of manipulatives to excite my children.
