Distance Learning: Document Cameras for an Enhanced Science Experience

Help me give my students a powerful experience in the world of science! Due to distance learning, some students are learning online, and we want our students to have a strong and living experience within the science courses.

My Students

The students at our small- town school are amazing! We have 700+ students in our middle school of 5th through 8th graders.

Our students are capable of amazing things and it is through the experiences our extremely talented teachers provide that our students can excel.

With our current situation of having some students choosing distance learning and the possibility to being in hybrid, our science teachers need document cameras to easily engage the online learners in things such as science labs, looking closely at materials, rocks and more.

My Project

Our innovative and driven science teachers in grades five through eight at our middle school will use the document camera to enhance the learning experience for our students.

Not only will this enhance the learning for our students who have chosen to learn from home, but also make it possible to do certain labs for our in-person learners while keeping them safe.

We are all about engaging our learners and now, more than ever, we need to focus on the tools that will help engage our learners in a rich experience.
