Help me give my students dissection sets, pans with pads and Dogfish Shark specimens for a unbelievable first time biology lab experience!

My students make up a diverse population with 54% Latino students, 29% African American students, 12% Caucasian students, 4% Multiracial and 1% Asian or Pacific Islander students. 81% of our school population receives free or reduced lunch. Our school is located near downtown Indianapolis and incorporates STEM and World Languages focus into our curriculum. Since we have a magnet option students attending our school live in central and surrounding communities of Indianapolis. The school ensures most of the students basic day to day school supply needs are met.
My students are excited to explore the unknown parts of species through dissection.
Properly preparing our students for success also means that students are able to engage in rigorous content by gaining hands on experience. Our school encourages a culture of excellence to ensure students are prepared beyond the middle school experience. Our building cultivates student awareness and implementation of being respectful, empathetic, motivated and accountable. Since our students have minimum to no experience in the lab they are more than eager to participate in activities that give them more exposure to all aspects of science content.
Students will be able to use these materials to gain hands on experience in a biology lab. Our school team has planned a trip to the Zoo so that students have the opportunity to experience the dogfish shark specimens in a controlled habitat. The goal is to compare the anatomy of the Dogfish Shark to that of the human body.
Students are eager to learn how to explore the components of an animal and have asked each quarter when the dissections begin.
Students will enter high school with knowledge and understanding of tools and equipment used in a Biology course.
