Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Seeing the curiosity that sparks within the 10th-grade class are inspiring. Our students at TJ high school are not only full of wonder but full of drive for success. With more than 60% of our students having English as their second language, we see that they let nothing get in the way of their dreams!

As biology teachers, this is what we strive to do. We strive to bring out students natural curiosity and explorative minds. Our students not only rise to the challenge of solving problems but exceed them by asking questions that fuel their education. 10th graders at our High school are full of intelligence, life, and curiosity.
My Project
Students at our high school strive for success in everything they do. They strive to maintain their grades, support their families, and achieve their dreams. As teachers, we strive to challenge them past what a standardized test or a piece of paper.
These resources will allow students to fuel their curiosity, and expand their scientific minds.
Dissection kits and tools will allow students to see all the different body systems of an organism in real life. They will be able to visualize how the systems interact and dissect the different organs. These tools will not only deepen their understanding of anatomy and biology, but it will also a reward for the hard work that our students have put in the entire year!
