My students need magnetic resources such as display trays and sentence strip pocket holders to help serve with mentor text. We also need bright, fun, colorful paper for centers.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Over 86% of our school population are English Language Learners and we serve as the largest model bilingual school for our district. Our students receive 100% free and or reduced price lunch. My students need to have people who believe and echo my passion for low-socioeconomic schools. Let's challenge our students to become competitive among other 21st century learners. There are a multitude of languages spoken in the classroom, making it very multicultural, which is a beautiful and rare experience for my scholars.
My Project
My students need independent magnetic resources that help them work collaboratively as well. My scholars will be using these magnetic materials to display their writing and text evidence based work on the board. This is a wonderful way to record and revise knowledge through using direct examples of student work. The display trays can hold card stock work though matching initial sounds, illustrations from stories, writing prompts, and so much more. The possibilities are endless!
The Astro Bright paper will help make new and correct information "pop" as these colors are aesthetically pleasing and command your attention.
What a wonderful way to make new information isolated from the rest as students delve into deepening their knowledge base. This will help my new students that have been displaced here due to Hurricane Maria. They will have the tools needed in order for them to display work and move that work to different learning stations around the room.
