My Students

Students that enter my classroom are bright, young individuals that come from a variety of backgrounds. My school has a very high, free lunch ratio. Many students in my school struggle to bring a pencil or paper to class. My school houses a garden that students have the chance to work in.

I believe every student can be successful.

In my classroom, students are taught to work hard everyday no matter what they are facing in life. I believe that every student is able to overcome and triumph. Many of my students rise to my expectations through their behavior and classwork.

My Project

Your donation to my classroom would provide a document camera and a container of white board wipes. The white board wipes are used when we do small group and group challenges. They make it easy for the students to clean their personal white boards. This allows students to have a clean whiteboard and be ready for the next challenge/question.

The document camera will help me amp up my guided instruction in the classroom.

It will allow me to guide students through my thinking and examples on the SmartBoard. Many times, my SmartBoard will not work and when I write on it, the writing comes out jumbled. This document camera will allow me the freedom to write on the same worksheet my students are using, and would make it legible for the students. We complete many models in class, and the document camera will also allow my students to see the model I am creating as they create.
