This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Imagine living in a neighborhood that is infested with gangs and criminal activities; that is the reality for my students. With your help, my students will be able to transform their neighborhood through hands-on recycling projects.

My Project

My students have learning disabilities and would definitely benefit from having a recycling center and a technology center in the classroom. Each group will have accessibility in technology to help them with researching relevant environmental, active community recycling program that are geared toward reducing waste, actively identifying problems and seeking feasible solutions. They will learn to store/preserve data and prevent them from decomposing; when necessary utilize for further studies and research that geared toward helping our environment.
