Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Foremost, our little ones are not just one thing. They are triumphant explorers, lucrative adventurers, and generous peacemakers. These third graders are cooly adaptable to adverse circumstances. They enthusiastically work together to learn, coach each other and create positive changes in our world. Their tenacity is strengthened through collaboration with diverse classmates.
Our students are strikingly insightful kiddos thriving in an enigmatic Philadelphia neighborhood.
I learn from their example constantly. They love learning in our school and around our city of brotherly love and sisterly affection.
My Project
With your generous support, our kiddos will take their learning everywhere! The handy discs and wobble chairs can be used for flexible seating anywhere! They are specially designed to let students wiggle and wobble while they sit. This helps children focus as they move. For students who prefer a padded spot, the mats and butterfly stools are a fun alternative to simply going to the class carpet.
"The space within," asserts the architect Frank Lloyd Wright, "becomes the reality of the building." I encourage students to use our space to find places around the room that work best for them.
With your help, they'll be able to work in comfort independently and in groups throughout all subject areas!
