Discovering What Is Inside Us

Help me give my students the opportunity to discover how the organ systems work within their body by helping me purchase a classroom set of stethoscopes.

My Students

My students are excited to learn about science. We are always looking for hands-on, real-world applications of the content that is being taught. I am constantly encouraging my students to look for science all around them.

Many of my students only have access to phones and screens and I would like them to process information without the use of a device.

Because of COVID, they have become increasingly dependent on what they see digitally. I would like to provide them with actual hands-on labs and experiences they can apply to their daily lives.

My Project

The stethoscopes will give my 7th grade students opportunities to expand their learning about organ systems. They will be listening to their own organ systems! The slides for microscopes will add to their knowledge that organ systems are a collection of cells and tissues. The body model will be a great way for students to visualize how organs and organ systems interact.

These hands-on materials will be a wonderful way to enhance the classroom lab experience, something they missed during online, at-home school work.

I am excited to see these materials at work!
