Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fifth graders part of a Title I school. Despite hardships, they have the talent to pull through anything. Recently, they found enjoy in writing stories and applying new knowledge in their day by day life. Every day they tell me all about it in the morning after they write about it.

With this platform and its resources, I am expecting to show my students that no matter where you're from or how you look, everybody can achieve what's desired with hard work and adequate morals.

My Project

About half of my students have no idea of what they want to be when they grow up. The other half have some ideas but are unsure if they should pursue something great because of their life conditions and lack of resources. This project has the objective of showing them that anyone can be anything if you put all your effort to it.

Students will be given the great opportunity to work several jobs, deciding for themselves, if they are interested or curious enough about them, to try and start their path to college with a concrete idea in mind.
