My Students

Our school is a very large public school in rural Tennessee. We are the only elementary school in our county. We have just under 1,000 students in Pre-K to 4th grade. Many of our students are low income and receive free or reduced-price lunch. Our school consist of 150 third graders who are full of energy and craving knowledge about the world around them. They love to actively explore the environments around them and engage in various activities to learn new subjects.

My Project

I am asking for a class subscription of Scholastic News and Science Spin magazines. These magazines will enable my class to discover the world around them.

Students love to learn about the important events that are happening all over the world!

Scholastic magazines include both current and historical events. Scholastic News and Science Spin will allow my students to explore subject matter that is age appropriate. It will enable my students to explore current events that interest them while also developing their critical thinking skills. Scholastic News and Science Spin will be great additions to my classroom for my students to help them discover the world around them.
