My Students
Our students come from beautifully diverse backgrounds. Representing over 19 different countries, free and reduced lunch, and traditional and blended families, all of our students work together to create our community of learners.
Creative, cooperative, and problem solvers...these words sum up our students!
With interests in coding, making, and reading, our kiddos are looking for new challenges to grow themselves as learners! In a tightly knit community such as ours, our students want to contribute to our neighborhoods and beyond.
My Project
Our students are thrilled to have had a project funded called "One Small Seed." Our students are designing, planting, and cultivating vegetable gardens in order to donate their crops to Katie's Krops, a local nonprofit that donates vegetables to local communities without fresh produce.
How can a garden grow without proper soil?
Our kiddos need soil to complete their dream of raised bed gardens at our school. With generous donations from families and businesses, we have seeds, building materials, tools, and...that's it! We need soil in order to complete our vision for our garden! A little dirt won't hurt! It will be a HUGE help!
