Middle school students are a fantastic group of young adults who are going through many changes. I enjoy working with them and watching them grow. They are talented, curious, humorous, energetic, and fun to be around. There is never a dull moment with them.
My Project
Reading opens up a whole new world for people. I want to share my love of reading with my students. One way to do this is to have a book tasting party.
Since our unit is about overcoming adversity, the books in this project fit perfectly and allow my students to have more choices.
I want them to find a book they can enjoy. If this project is funded, I will transform my classroom into a restaurant using battery powered candles, tablecloths, and place cardholders. It's time to celebrate finding an excellent book to read!
