Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My fourth and fifth graders are resilient! They are adjusting to virtual learning while a few are attending face-to-face learning. I'd love to provide my students with a well-organized classroom as well as assisting them in achieving their personal reading and writing goals this year. My class is comprised of 50 students from different backgrounds.
The dual-language program is special in so many ways that it gives me the chance to impact all these students with multiple styles of learning.
When they enter my classroom, it's not only my job to prepare them academically, but also to impact them to be well-rounded citizens. I want them to be successful in the classroom and to provide a safe and welcoming environment with your help.
My Project
I am requesting two Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to buy different digital resources for my students to use. I teach reading, writing, and social studies to 4th and 5th graders and it is hard to find good digital resources for them to use. I would be able to reach all of my students' learning abilities through the targeted activities available to purchase.
My Dual Language students are learning two languages and they need interactive activities to keep them engaged in their learning.
I would like to purchase Spanish material that is very hard to find for writing and reading activities. By having these gift cards available, it will give me the opportunity to buy different material for me to use for all of my students.
