Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students here are exciting! They have a competitive edge and use education, sports, and service to help them find more successful tools and skills for their futures. Students collaborate and do everything they can to share with their broader community.
They know and understand that their experiences now and the options they have today can and will have a broader impact in the coming years.
They are diverse in their desires, learning, and passions: hence, so is what they have to offer.
My Project
Many classes offer experts in a content area, or exemplar student work. The days of digging through old documents is over. So, I'd like to see students build their own digital pocket to work with.
With this MacBook, students will be able to save articles, videos, and webpages to help consolidate their work.
This will be easy to use, but will help students take advantage of the apps that then give us a resource station that is digital, quick, and available to all.
Essentially, students will have a space in the room to go to the when they need to view accompanying texts, examples or past student work, etc. It will become not only a "glow station" to show off past student work, but also a "grow station" where resources that go with that days lessons will be readily available too.
