Digital Projector for Mobile STEM U.S. History Class

Help me give my students the ability to take presentations anywhere with this mobile projector with audio. This will allow me the flexibility and mobility needed to teach large groups and do academic enrichment across my school.

My Students

I teach 11th grade U.S. History and my students are a fantastic group of young men and women. They ask amazing questions and are always excited to be in my class. My students are mostly African American and qualify for free or reduced-price lunch so I try very hard to give as much as I can to help them excel in my class. I have converted my class into a 100% digital classroom which means they don’t have to lug around heavy textbooks or bulky paper assignments.

My Project

The monies raised will go to pay for a for a mobile digital projector that I can use to teach lessons in multiple locations around my building and on-site locations when we conduct field trips. this will also allow me to conduct digital field trips and mobile academic enrichment lessons where all I would need is this projector and either a phone or a tablet to run the presentation. As I cover multiple classes I tend to teach in many other classrooms other than my own as such many of the classrooms I cover lack digital resources to effectively instruct my own students.

Additionally, as I am a paperless and green instructor this projector will cut down on the amount of paper assignments and allow me to teach hybrid classes both in school and through Microsoft Teams.
