Teacher professional development: I need an iPad Air and keyboard to access professional development resources available on the iBooks app. <profdevpilot>

Hooray! This project is fully funded
We live in a digital age and are all citizens of the digital world. I need to improve my knowledge of digital literacy and digital citizenship to help my students become responsible digital citizens.
I have been an elementary school teacher in southern California for 25 years.
In the beginning we were lucky to have a computer in the classroom, but it was not connected to the Internet. Eventually our school established a computer lab, and now each classroom has at least four computers that are online. My students now are able to use the Internet, but so far it has been to specific websites that are already bookmarked.
Soon my students will be researching topics on the Internet. Before that happens I need to increase my knowledge of digital literacy and digital citizenship. I am requesting an iPad and keyboard to be able to be able to receive training on digital literacy and citizenship. An app available on the iPad, iBooks, would give me access to training materials on these topics. Specifically, Common Sense Media's curriculum, available in iBooks, will train me to teach students how to participate safely, responsibly, and respectfully in today's digital world. I will learn about Internet safety, cyberbullying, online privacy, and more. Once I myself go through this program, then I will be able to teach these concepts to my third graders.
By receiving this training I will have a better understanding of all the components of digital literacy and citizenship.
I will then be able to share this knowledge with my students as they begin to venture out into the Internet.
