I teach fifth grade reading in one of the best rural schools in Oklahoma! My students are a diverse group with varied levels of learning. Our classroom is a space where students enjoy coming to learn. We are a Title I school with the majority of our students receiving free lunches.
These students have huge hearts and love to learn in non-traditional ways, such as room transformations, integrating the arts into our lessons, and project-based learning.
My students have curiosity, creativity, compassion, and positive attitudes. They are truly amazing people. My school is wonderfully supportive of the active hands-on learning that we do in our classroom. I couldn't ask for a better learning environment for these students. We are truly a community!
My Project
As the Title I Reading teacher for my school, I am offering both virtual lessons for the students that chose to do at home learning, and in class lessons for those attending school. I am hoping to purchase some resources on Teachers Pay Teachers to give my students the best opportunity to learn without paper and pencil. The resources from Teachers Pay Teachers will be able to be used by my students no matter if we are in our classroom or e-learning at home.
I would like to purchase digital leveled reading passages, boom card activities, vocabulary skills practices and more.
Everything that I purchase on Teachers Pay Teachers will be digital. The materials will work in both synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. I want to give my students everything they will need to be successful and learn in an engaging way.
