My Students

My students are part of the gifted program in our district. They are ambitious and hard working!

My students use their "giftedness" for good, and always want to be stretched and challenged while remaining kind.

Even when my in class students are home sick, they are getting on the computer to join my distance class meetings.

My Project

Learning from Non-fiction resources that are time relevant is very benificial for students, especially in the gifted program. We are currently doing distance learning, and it would be great to have material they can access from digital devices.

On-line learning is an important part of the future of education.

Time for Kids will help my students stay current with age appropriate events and it will help them develop their comprehension skills.

Understanding text features and non fiction events will help them be more aware of the world around them. It will also help them make important connections.
