My students are being amazingly creative during this time. They are willing to come up with their own when needed plans and diversify their learning to meet their needs. Their families are ROCKSTARS!! Together they are showcasing some of the most creative uses of learning I have seen in a long time.
My Project
This is the greatest education experiment to date. Trying to create a learning environment that meets the needs as close to real life has been a roller coaster. It has been filled with ups and downs. Moments of "OH we can do this better" and "wow look at what has been accomplished".
Through it all, my students continue to amaze me with their adaptability.
Everyday I look at the online examples of work they send me and I marvel at how they adapt lessons to meet their needs and circumstances. They are true pioneers. The goal of my team during this time is to help them be as successful as possible by giving them a lot of choices. The TPT gift cards will enable us to find resources to encourage learning when we can't quite find the lesson we need. It will also help us to fill gaps when we are finally back together again in the classroom setting. We are learning rapidly how to upload worksheets into Seesaw for our students and how they can showcase this learning for us. Our goal for next year as a grade level is to purchase the premium account for all students so we can continue this amazing work even in person! So many great goals from Distance Learning have evolved.
The boxes will enable us to have a home to hold our drop off materials.
