We are a diverse group of Pre-K through 6th grade students. We have many different socioeconomic and academic levels. I am interested in adding technology to my classroom as I strive to balance structure with the freedom my students need to create and grow.
My art room is a space for creativity, yet is disciplined, structured and welcoming.
It is a space for everyone! My goal is to give every student , regardless of ability, the opportunity to learn and create.
My Project
My students need four iPads with protective cases to create digital portfolios, explore artists and their artwork, enhance learning, and utilize the ever changing needs of our 21st-century society.
Students will create a digital portfolio of their work.
Students will be able to photograph and post their art as it is completed. Parents will be able to view these digital portfolios.
Students will also create self-critiques online. This will allow them to evaluate their own artwork.
Students can research artists and artwork given a time period or style.
There are endless possibilities for using the iPads in our technology-rich world.
