Help our class go digital! I am currently finishing up my Master's degree in Educational Technology and want to help my students be part of the digital age. My 6th graders are excited to become innovators and work with digital media as a learning tool. We live in a high-speed world, so why not learn in a high-speed classroom?

Technology is expanding at exponential rates, but technology in schools moves at a sluggish rate. This generation of students were born in the digital age, they use technology all the time, why not as a learning tool as well! Please help get technology into the hands of our future!

We have already started off the year by creating websites about Greek and Roman mythology and we will begin to create and publish our own podcasts too! To become even more successful and immersed in technology we need to start building the technology in our classroom. We'd like to add to the three student computers a scanner so that we can upload our own original work and digital cameras to create projects and show off our learning. Not only will it enhance our learning, but we will be able to share our learning with the world!
