Help students record memories of high school life for the yearbook! The yearbook committee is a student-run club that meets weekly at lunch time or after school. We are a highly diverse urban charter high school in California. The students in the yearbook committee are from 10th-12th grades, and share responsibilities equally. It is an entirely student-run club, supported by two teachers.

Due to budget constraints that are affecting many California public schools, our school is short on supplies for different extracurricular clubs. The yearbook committee is faced with the job of creating a meaningful yearbook that students can return to year after year and reflect on their high school experience. In order for the photo editors to document student life (at sport events, school activities, on campus activities, etc.) they are in need of additional cameras.

The yearbook committee would like to add 7 new digital cameras to the yearbook supplies in order to capture student life for many years to come.

You will make it possible for my students to document their high school memories for the yearly yearbook that they are responsible for putting together. Being on the yearbook committee and producing a wonderful book is an experience that they can be proud of and share with their fellow students, parents, community and faculty.
