I am the proud art teacher for the 5th- 8th-grade students at Greenleaf Elementary in East Oakland.
Greenleaf Middle School was recognized for being one of the Top Bay Area Public School for low-income Latino Students in English and also has the 3rd highest SPF score in Oakland School District.
These incredible scholars have thrived through struggles and shown the Principles of Being: Being Responsible, Being Safe, Being a Team Player and Being Respectful and the Principles of Learning: Pride, Determination, Inquiry, and Integrity.
Having engaging digital resources will support bringing the Digital Art (video, animation, digital drawing) to my Middle School Enrichment Class.
These 3 iPads with cases will be used during my class and will also be used after school classes.
I have been trained this summer in Digital Art and I would love for my students to be able to express themselves in this Art Medium.
With these 3 iPads, my amazing students will gain 21st-century skills with technology not only supporting their creative expression but also preparing them with skills that they can use in High School and beyond with responsible technology use.
