My students need 25 copies of North Carolina Fifth Grade Science Weekly Challenger Magazine to enhance their understanding of 5th grade science concepts.

Gone are the days when you can just complete a science experiment and think you've got it! Science now involves so much more literacy that I am always on the lookout for great resources that can be used in our classroom.
My students are some of the brightest, well-spoken, authentic students I've ever had the pleasure to teach.
Their desire to learn and explore the world around them is invigorating. These are students who attend a high poverty school but don't let their surroundings stop them from desiring more for themselves.
It is for these reasons that I'm requesting 25 copies of the North Carolina Fifth Grade Science Studies Weekly Challenger Magazine so that my students are able to access and interact with science through literacy. With the use of the Science Studies Magazines we will be able to dig into the branches of science that my fifth-graders need to explore! Earth science, physical science, life science and more are treated in each student's own full-color illustrated newspaper which will bring the content to life for my students.
I am asking that you help to support this project as your impact will mean so much to them and to myself.
Your donation will make a difference in the life of a child by exposing them to the world that exists beyond the classroom walls. You will not only increase the literacy levels of my students but you will increase their science knowledge as well, making them even more well-rounded, productive young students who are well prepared for success in their future.
