Digging Deep into the Soil

My students need a compost kit, a worm kit and a small greenhouse that will help grow out plants in different soils.

My Students

Our school has these amazing science kits. Help us to delve even deeper into all that we can learn about the soil around us and what those worms are actually doing!

My students come from homes without many extravagances.

They want to learn about their world, but often do not get to reach their potential. Our school does so much for out students and this would be just one more way for them to deepen their knowledge.

My Project

Wouldn't you like to know what is happening in the ground? We are living in a time where going green is a big idea. The Kit Worm Away and and Worm Vue Wonders will help my students to see and understand how easy it is to compost as well as learn how worms can help us to live greener. The Sprout and Grow greenhouse will help us to grow out plants so that we can better see their parts and compare different types of soils.

This project will help my students to better understand how nature effects their lives and how they effect nature.

We will see what things break down and what doesn't. This is the chance to answer that question every kid asks, "How does this relate to me in the real world." Help them to find that answer!
