Every morning, the FUTURE walks into my classroom, excited to learn and SHINE: future teachers, doctors, lawyers, fire fighters, athletes, parents and much more. Each student is a unique and special member of our classroom family!
Together we take chances, ask questions, explore the world, support each other, laugh often, embrace mistakes, and GROW!
Our class is comprised mostly of kinesthetic learners, who are energetic, enthusiastic, and enjoy hands-on activities. Every day we utilize manipulatives, incorporate movement, make connections, integrate the arts, and implement various strategies through differentiation instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. We build relationships and a lifelong love of learning!
My Project
Differentiation and personalized learning are key components to student success and empowerment in our class! Students participate in a variety of daily literacy and mathematical activities. One of our students' favorite and most beneficial centers is the INTERACTIVE Smart Board. Here, students have CHOICE as they listen to stories, practice phonics skills, explore grammar/conventions, and/or play a variety of educational games.
Califone Wireless Headphones and Transmitter will allow students to effectively utilize 21st Century Technology, to grow their literacy, math, and study skills.
This year, our school's theme is "It's Personal!" Let's help students succeed by incorporating technology into differentiation and personalized learning!
