My Students

This class consists of 25 students of diverse backgrounds. I am lucky to have an almost equal ratio of Arabic speakers, Spanish speakers, Chinese speakers, and English speakers. I enjoy the variety of cultures and experiences that the students bring to our community. They all receive free lunch.

They're really fun and smart!

How will it help? Students are coming into the classroom with a wide range of specific needs. Some students need laser focused practice on developmental math, and others are growing their ability to succeed in standardized tests. IXL gives us the tools to directly assign specific practice to meet students' specific, targeted needs. Parents will appreciate having a place for students to strengthen skills without having a pile of worksheets to focus on.
