I have the privilege of working in a wonderful school, and supportive community. My class has 19 energetic, sweet, curious, and enthusiastic children. They are very excited and motivated by the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning centers.
I am very passionate about making sure each student feels successful, challenged, and happy at school.
I empower all students to feel they CAN DO anything they set their mind too. Creating community is essential to taking risks and deeper learning. I enjoy taking the time to get to know my students well, not just as learners, but also as people has helped to create a real sense of belonging in our shared space. No matter the obstacles they face outside the class, they strive to be the best they can be every single day. Any and all help you can provide to help me achieve this goal is greatly and forever appreciated
My Project
The cubby storage shelf and the assorted trays I am requesting will allow me to place multiple games and literacy-related activities into the bins. On a daily basis, my students are already involved with literacy and math centers. The storage bins will give my students the opportunity to choose differentiated activities once they are finished with a must do activity.
By implementing the free choice literacy centers into my daily routines, it will allow me to meet the unique individual needs for each student.
My students are very eager to begin centers where they will have choice and control of their own learning. By allowing choice in the classroom it will motivate my students to stay engaged and productive. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
