Help me give my students sensory and focus! Using the Active Wobble Chair will allow differentiated seating for those students who struggle with movement and focus, while the LED Light table will help with math, science and sensory.
We are a charter school that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). My students are bright, energetic children who are eager to learn and experience things, especially through hands-on activities.
Children learn best through experiencing, and I want my students to have everything they need to become the best learners they can.
In my classroom, we love doing science experiments, art projects, and going out into the field to experience learning outside of a textbook. Our children are our future, and they should be given the opportunity to succeed.
My Project
Kindergarten students love to move their bodies and explore various ways to learn. Particularly at this age, students need to be given different seating choices to determine what best fits their individual needs. In addition, students enjoy hands on learning which is why I choose the LED Light Table, and other sensory learning materials. This table allows students to explore shapes, numbers, letters and even science through tracing, building, and light consistency! What an amazing deal!
By using these amazing Wobble Chairs, students are able to channel their excess energy which allows them to make better choices and maintain more focus on what they are completing in class.
The LED Table also has an amazing accessory kit which comes with transparent letters, numbers, shapes, and sorting trays to allow me to incorporate math, science, and literacy concepts in an engaging way while also improving their fine motor skills. The magnification blocks and sensory tubes will allow my students opportunities to explore science through hands on and gives them the choice of what they want to see with them.
Children learn at different paces and in different ways so why not with different seating and experiences as well?! . A engaged student is a happy and motivated learner!
