Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are curious and want more than just textbook information.
Students today learn a lot different than students did 10 years ago.
They need more than just the textbooks to succeed.
My students come from very diverse cultures. A large percentage of our school is economically disadvantaged. As a teacher, I feel that I must give my students all of the opportunities they need to present what they have learned and also to be active participants in their learning. I want them to take ownership of their education.
My students want to take charge of how they gain information. They want to have a say in all activities that are happening in the classroom environment. They need to be actively involved in the classroom learning environment or many of them will become bored and lost forever.
My Project
I will use this Samsung Surface Pro for differentiated and small group instruction. Receiving individual assistance will tremendously help my students. I will use this Samsung Surface Pro during my daily lessons.
This Samsung Surface Pro will help me provide differentiated and small group instruction.
I will be able to reach all of my students. I will also use the Samsung Surface Pro for peer groups where students will be able to teach each other. I will also use the Brother ink cartridge to print out the information and notes for my students. It is my personal goal to better help my students during class and minimize after school tutoring. This Samsung Surface Pro and Brother ink cartridges will play a vital role in that.
