My Students

My students are fifth graders in a lower income school. We are a Title I school. My students are happy to be in class after almost six months of being restricted at home due to COVID 19. They have shown that they love learning and have a lot to learn.

My Project

I have amazing fifth graders in my class this year, virtually and in person! I am so excited to work with upper grade students. I have been teaching Kindergarten and younger grades for my whole teaching career... and now get to teach fifth grade!

TpT resources provide time saving ways to make learning more fun and engaging, allowing students to have differentiated curriculum at their level.

TpT resources provide an expanse of opportunities for students to be enriched and for students to have intervention, depending on their needs.

These resources will provide already created materials for students' use across the subject areas, especially math, literacy, and science to simplify the learning process for students. Students will have math learning games, math re-teach opportunities, math enrichment exercises, literature circle journal prompts, cues for important math vocabulary, science visuals and much more! For example, students are reading "The Sign of the Beaver" by Elizabeth George Speare. The literature circle response tri-fold helps students clarify important story elements including setting and main character details. It also guides students to think about the story in new ways with guiding questions.

Many digital and printable resources will be utilized in helping students understand the fifth grade curriculum virtually and in person.

I sincerely appreciate your consideration in funding TpT resources for fifth graders!
