I teach 6th & 7th grade Special Education students. We are working on dictionary skills and vocabulary words. Most of my students do not have dictionaries at home which becomes frustrating to them. They have to come in during lunchtime to try to do their homework. The students who do have dictionaries find it difficult to use because they are too advanced for them (parent's dictionaries). I would love it if each of my students could own their own dictionary to take home. Dictionaries need to be at the middle school grade level or below in order to meet their needs. I guarantee that they will be used wisely and that each student would appreciate this gift. Thank you
