My Project

These dictionaries will continue to enhance the language-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy. I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every student dictionary that is placed in my classroom will be treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunity to learn the meaning of all words. The dictionaries have been chosen with my students in mind. I have watched them struggle with language acquisition over the past few months, but these supplies will enhance this. Students will be able to pick up a dictionary at any time, which will help them continue to enjoy independent language development.

With these new dictionaries, my students will be able to grasp grade-level content more easily once the vocabulary is presented in the dictionary in a different format.

They will also be able to choose words that interest them to find the meaning. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and the dictionaries will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent study, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
