Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a diverse group from an area considered the highest poverty. Students from our classes need access to technology. These laptops will assure students from lower income households have as much access to technology as students from more affluent areas have.

These students are smart, curious, and they love to learn.

Our students need your help.

My Project

Before Covid 19, our class had a computer for each student. When we began "distance learning" , our class's Chromebooks were given out to the most needy students. Some will return damaged, and some won't return at all. You can help our talented seventh graders to continue to work with technology when we are allowed back in school. Please join our project. The materials in this project will replace the old Chromebooks that were given out to needy families. Students will benefit because they will have devices in the classroom, and it would spare the from the old pen and pencil. They can continue with digital portfolios, PowerPoint slide shows, Formatting documents, and research.

It would be a disaster if our class had to return to paper and pencil work while at school.
