Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are so special because they want to learn. They are kind and caring to each other but they also take pride in their work, the classroom, and their school. They make me proud every day and I know they are capable of achieving anything when they are given resources and the opportunity.
They are hard-working, creative, and thoughtful individuals and our classroom needs more tools to ensure academic growth for all students.
I want for students to be inspired about learning and want to create as many hands-on experiences for them as possible.
My Project
The materials will make a difference in my students' learning in many ways. My goal is to make the classroom as developmentally appropriate for my students as I can. A lot of materials and supplies that I have are geared towards older children and I would like my students to have materials that are appropriate for their age range.
My students deserve to be comfortable in the classroom; to utilize tools and play with toys that are at their level.
These materials would allow my students to have flexible seating in the classroom, music instruments to inspire creativity, and blocks that allow children to engineer. Students learn through play and I would like to provide materials that foster and support their developing minds.
