I teach full day kindergarten in a low economic, diverse school. Most of my students receive free or reduced lunch and eat breakfast at school. Ten of my students speak a language other than English at home. The majority of my students did not attend preschool.

My students are currently below grade level in math. By the end of the year they are required to know how to count, recognize, and write numbers to 100. They need various number activities to help them accomplish this end of kindergarten goal. Math supplies and manipulatives are limited.

I need 18 number boards to use in my classroom regularly. I will develop numerous hands on activities for small group and whole group lessons using these number boards. Students will use these activities to meet their math goals.

Your help will ensure that my students have more math hands on activities in the classroom. These number boards will be shared among all 6 kindergarten classes at my school.
