This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Understanding and solving problems, using creativity, applying research, are just some of the skills that students use when they are in my 7th and 8th-grade science classes. We are and constantly remain excited about the learning that's going to occur within our classroom each and every day and being able to push ourselves to achieve at the highest academic levels are our goals and what drives us to be better students and for me to become a better teacher each and every day!
My Project
As a part of a leadership program that prepares you for leadership positions within your school and district community it is important to not only participate in classes, complete course content but one must also be reflective in understanding their craft, finding resources that are research-based, tried and proven to be a benefit to educators such as myself who love to read and desire to learn from those that have gone before me. Being able to read just a few of the books recommended such as Leverage Leadership will only propel me to become a better teacher in my classroom for now and for the adults that I will lead in the future.
