My Project

My students are Native American and even through the toughest days of COVID-19, they continued to persevere. COVID-19 impacted their learning because they did not have reading materials available to them at home. This has led to them losing ground on their reading abilities. These books will help them regain those losses while exposing them to different genres, themes, and time periods.

My students need exposure to different perspectives on the world.

Their experiences are limited to their reservation and the nearby town. By giving access to these books, their world view will be enhanced.
