Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have twelve students in my classroom. All my students are diverse learners. Each of them has an specific way to learn the lesson provided. Most of my students need different types of sensory materials to improve their fine motor skills and develop their sensory skills.
My students love coming to school and really enjoy hands-on activities.
It is my job to teach them and show them the steps to accomplish their goals. Every student has a different way of learning, and I will help them to learn as much as possible. My passion for teaching cannot be measured with words, but with actions.
My Project
Most of my students have never had an opportunity to explore books, or their parents never read to them, because the students do not seem to be interested in books. Most of my students are not interested in the books we have in the classroom because most of our books are not at their skill levels.
By donating to my project, you will help my students increase their motivation to enjoy books.
Moreover, most of my students need sensory materials to improve their learning. The books I chose for my students have sensory materials that will help my students be motivated to experience books.
