This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are precious and full of potential. The majority of them qualify for free or reduced price meals. They enter our room every day eager to learn. They're engaged, enthusiastic, excited, and ready to have a great time learning! They are ready to be their very best.
School is a place where they can find the resources they need to meet their potential.
Five-year-olds are eager to learn about the world around them. Please help us give them the very best opportunities available!
My Project
Large crayons are perfect for five year old hands. Primary paint colors will provide the basics we need to create all the colors we want for making Kindergarten masterpieces. Handling these arts and craft supplies will give my students multiple opportunities to express themselves while developing fine motor skills. Students will enjoy making choices about color and design. Language will be enriched as students discuss their projects in process.
These crayons, paint, and crafting supplies will give my students hours of fun while developing their fine motor skills, language, and a sense of themselves as artists.
