Help me give my students supplies that will allow them to relax and de-stress within my classroom. The Common Core Pi Jigsaw Puzzle and Anti-Stress Coloring books for teens will allow them to shift their focus to math!

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are typical sixth graders; far more interested in the social aspects of their lives than on learning math. We are a school district on the coast of Massachusetts, but all of our students are part of the free lunch program. Many of them reach middle school believing that not only do they not like math but that they "can't do" it. The district and school have invested heavily in technology resources but the classrooms are still very traditional.
My students want to do well, but by the time they reach my class, many of them have given up on being successful at math.
They react best when the setting or situation is somehow different or captures their attention. Our students need to be able to move and interact with others as well as feel comfortable trying new tasks and being persistent when the task is difficult.
Recent studies have shown that students benefit when they are allowed activities to help them lower their stress around math concepts.
Jigsaw puzzles and coloring activities have a positive impact on brain function which will allow my students to better focus and persevere on math topics.
Often math class is a difficult place for many students and the fear they have of being "not any good" at math inhibits their stress.
These items will allow them within the classroom to lower their stress, become the mathematicians that they are meant to be, and hopefully come to enjoy and maybe even like math class.
