My Students

I am a 3rd grade public school teacher in Manhattan. I teach all subject areas and have 25 enthusiastic learners in my classroom. They are eager to learn and interested in the material that is presented. They love to participate in group discussions, ask questions, and demonstrate what they have learned in new and interesting ways.

As a teacher I am always looking for new ways to motivate my students and provide them with the best possible educational experience!

Differentiating instruction and finding new activities to engage students is necessary. We have a diverse population of children who come to us from all over the world. They come to us with different cultural backgrounds, prior knowledge, experiences, and abilities. It is our job to meet the needs of all of our students!

My Project

We are in desperate need of printer ink for our Canon printer. We need to purchase PGI 1200XL ink. This item would benefit both teachers and students. I am constantly creating lessons, documents, homework sheets, monthly newsletters, permission slips, reminders, and so on. This is so hard to do with our lack of printer ink.

My students are not able to print out the work they complete on the computer, because we do not have printer ink.

We are currently working on a creating a China brochure. After typing up our various entries, students cannot print them out because we simply do not have printer ink.
